The Ultimate Stationery for Kids: Meet The Mindful Mini Collection

 "M" IS FOR MINDFULNESS

The countdown is on and we are officially ready to launch Bujo Bae's kid's stationery line: MINDFUL MINI!

Set your alarms for AUGUST 18th, 2023 at 8AM HST. This is the beginning of many more stationery goods to come. Here's some details about each product:

 Mindful Mini CollectionMINDFUL MINI JOURNAL:

This mindfulness journal was designed for the inner child who needed this, my future daughter who will grow up with this, and the generation growing with her.

Mindful Mini has 12 themed sections and can be started during any time of the year. However, it is recommended to start this journal at the start of the year, a new school year, or the day of your mini's birthday.

Each section has different activity pages related to planning, dream building, using creativity, self reflection, and documenting memories. Pages even include layouts that I normally use for my own personal bullet journal.

This journal is targeted for ages 7-12 years old and can be done independently or together with friends or parents. I hope it becomes a resource for parents to deepen conversations and have fun as well.

VINYL STICKER SHEET:

This sticker sheet fills those mini gaps on water bottles, notebooks, or school folders. It features our favorite affirmations and designs from the journal. Decorate your surfaces with these waterproof vinyl stickers and rep Mindful Mini anywhere you go.

I AM...AFFIRMATION PENCILS:

We love a good mantra and should say it to ourselves (and others) more often. These pencils are for any age but the perfect fit for this collection. They are standard #2 pencils, with the most uplifting affirmations, and a good reminder to have while you work.

Say it to yourself one more time:

I AM BRAVE.

YES, I CAN.

I AM LOVED.

MY WORDS MATTER.

I BELIEVE IN MYSELF.

I AM ENOUGH.

THERAPY DUPE!

Since becoming a mom and starting Bujo Bae, it's been a passion project on my list to create a stationery line for kids. Nowadays, I've seen journals for kids but they were based on managing big emotions like anxiety or grief.

I wanted to create a collection that was for everyday use and inspired one to do it all. The goal was to inspire creativity and encourage productivity and growth.

The moment that inspired this journal was journaling with my daughter. At the time, my daughter was just 2 years old but I believe one is never too young to start. I pictured myself journaling with her as she got older and then wanting THAT MOMENT for other parents as well. I picture parents doing these activities along side their kids and maybe even practicing more personal mindfulness as well.

I've learned so much as a mom. It's taught me patience, breaking generational habits, while healing my inner child. All I have to say is that this generation of parenting is different than the one that I grew up in. I created this journal for my kid self that I would have wanted (and needed) it, a resource for millennial parents, and a safe space for the generation of kids growing with my daughter to journal.

THE CREATIVE ADULT IS THE CHILD WHO SURVIVED

Mindful Mini isn't only for kids or parents....it can be for ANYONE. I plan to go through and do these myself. Similar to a coloring notebook for adults, this journal can give you a moment to destress, reflect, and step away from everyday tasks. Yes, press a quick pause on adulting. I enjoyed creating every page from cover to cover but here's some of my favorites from each section:

  • ABOUT ME: "I am me from A-Z"
  • L. O. V. E: "Creating a self care menu"
  • GO & GROW: Vision Board
  • DOODLE: Doodle Challenge
  • BLOOM: "My Big Dreams"
  • ME & MY FRIENDS: "Our bestie bucket list"
  • ADVENTURE TIME: 5-4-3-2-1 Journal exercise
  • CURRENTLY: Keep Calm
  • LETTERS: "Dear future self"
  • TREATS: "Mood Playlist"
  • GRATITUDE: "Self Gratitude"
  • CELEBRATE: "The Perfect Birthday Party"

There's a mindful mini we may be raising, know, or inside of us. I hope you enjoy this collection as much as had fun creating it. Be sure to tag @mindfulmini_ on Instagram on your journaling journey.

XO, Jenna
